What a great stop on our way to Yellowstone! This campground is close to the town of Cody and the Buffalo Bills Reservoir. The view from our campsite was absolutely grandiose! We camped at the North Fork, site 078 for two nights but all the sites give you a great view. It was cold though (50-60 F) and the weather can change very rapidly. Nice campsite, good size, picnic table, fire pit and an firewood available at the entrance based on honour system.
Campsite #29, incredible views, water and rocky beach right off the site. Got VERY windy once evening hit. Campground was full but quiet and appropriately spaced out!
When you call staff is helpful. Lovely views. Definitely enjoyed our visit here. Plenty of space for day use and campers alike thru out the park.
Picture perfect, quiet family park with unbelievable views. Beautiful campsites right on the lake (or river). Campsites & grounds are extremely well maintained have ample space between each site and they’re all paved & level with shade …
toxic algae! fatal to dogs! fine area but you cant swim so might as well park at walmart.
Absurdly gorgeous here. This is the old town of Marquette, later was flooded and is now this resivoir. There is camping here that can be reserved on line. The dam has a visitor center during summer hours. Great fishing here with boat ramps to drop your boat. If just here for a day trip or a over night trip it is well worth your time.
Speaking as someone who has chosen to work here for my third summer, commuting 90 miles each workday, to do so: " I love this place!" The staff is awesome, very helpful, and goes beyond duty to help boaters, fishermen , swimmers, campers …
We spent 1 night at Buffalo Bill State Park. Upon booking, I had thought there was an access point to swim, but this was not accurate. …
Beautiful State Park! The scenery is jaw dropping and a must see for anyone.
We went late in the season and were happy to find all of the amenities were still available. The sites were very clean and well laid out. Would highly recommend giving this site a try. The cell coverage was great with AT&T which was great. …
